Financial Reporting and Analysis
You may have already noticed that financial reporting and analysis can be somewhat labor-intensive in a multi-company setting within either QuickBooks or Business Central. This is also true with ERP's such as Xero, but that's another discussion. Either Power BI or Fathom are fine for historical data, but Fathom truly does stand out from the pack when it comes to financial forecasting.
Fathom doesn't currently allow us to add a hyperlink to a Fathom Report on our webpage. That's unfortunate since a hyperlink would allow you to experience the full interactive aspects of Fathom reporting. However, you can click on the "Download PDF" (below) to view the PDF in your own PDF viewer.
Alternatively, you can simply click on the navigation link shown below the PDF to page through the PDF on our site. This report is based upon a fictious company ("ProfServCo1"). This is one of the same companies used in our "three-pleasure craft boating marinas" Power BI example. We've dispensed with the other two companies since the main thrust of this example is to highlight financial forecasting--and the kinds of reports that can be created.
Our monthly reporting is not a one-size-fits-all solution. The Report is merely a representation of the type of reporting we can perform for you. Since every company has unique requirements, our Certified Fathom Advisors will customize our reporting to meet your specific needs.
